I wish I could give Doc's a 4.8 but you can't do it with this star rating system. The only reason I'd hold back on a 5-star rating is that the pricing is more than other stores and they can get busy and you may have to wait. But you get what you wait for and patience is a virtue.
Worked with Doc's staff this summer to find the right bike, the sweetest ride for my first triathlon. I could've been happier with my ride and I'm thankful for the personal attention I get every time I'm in the shop. The new staff is 3Es! Eager! - Excited! - Experienced! Talk to them on a personal level and you'll find out this isn't just a job, it's a lifestyle and they want you on board the silent sports wagon.
Horrible service! Stay away from the service department! We asked for a shifter to be adjusted and Nathan from the service department said the entire bike needed to be disassembled for over 100 dollars! Once questioned about it he told me I didn't know what I was talking about since I'm not a "certified bicycle mechanic!" I do precision alignments for a living! Horrible customer relations!
I bought my first Mountain Bike at Wheel and Sprocket since I didn't know about Doc's. I bought my new Road Bike at Doc's (Cannondale System Six) and have since bought 2 other bikes there and now looking for another Mountain or Fat bike.
Excellent service. My husband bought a new pair of skis and we noticed a defect when we were waxing them at home for the first time. We brought them back in and they were replaced immediately with zero hassle. They even waxed the replacement pair for him because we had mentioned that we had been planning to use them on a ski trip that was only days away. In addition, the staff was very friendly and chatted with us while we waited. Oh, and they have beer!
Our family has become repeat customers at Doc's due to the Customer Service, Knowledge of the Staff, and great Maintenance Team. I was amazed at the personal attention we have received when buying bikes, looking for advice, and understanding how to take care of our bikes. When you talk to the people at Doc's you feel like you are just conversing and not being sold anything.
Thank you #Bikedoc for setting me up with my first real MountainBike. Love the 2018 trek stache . It climbs crazy fast, took on the single track with no problems, and is a blast on the downhills. Ride was cut short by the storms but looking forward to my first voyage to John Muir this weekend!!!
